Fast Streaming not working (WMP Series 9(

We are trying to stream wma files (using mms protocol) from the Win2K3 WMS series 9 server. We have created an asx playlist file in the CF of our WinCE target platform.

Though the files are streaming well using Windows Media Player, when switching between two items of the playlist (using page up/down keys), we donot get the "instant on" or "seamless" operation when playing the next item. Instead there is a long break of appx 5~8 seconds before the next item plays.

The same asx file when tested on a desktop WMP switches seamlessly.

Apparently there is a new version of WMV source filter for fixing this problem. Any idea where we can get this updated source filter. Doesent it appear in any of the QFEs?

Anyother changes required to be made on our development platform to enable this fast streaming function of WMP9.
