I don't quite follow your description, but if you're wondering about a
hardware design using a 16 bit bus for flash and a 32 bit bus for SDRAM, yes
that will be fine. If you have two flash parts on separate chip selects, it
will be difficult to use both of them for OS storage. You'll need to
implement a multiple XIP image, which is more complex than a standard image.
If you're planning to use one for OS, the other for data storage that would
be ok.
