Why would the ENTIRE page need updating every one second - seems rather
inefficient to me. Also you say MOZILLA doesn't have the problem but then go
on to ask if Mozilla can run on CE. This implies you are not testing IE on
CE or are trying Mozilla on something else. You need to compare apples to
apples here..

Can you break it down to a small sample or URL that could be tested or
examined to help improve the efficiency? There is certainly nothing that
prevents someone from porting the Mozilla code to Windows CE it's just a
pretty big job with not much demand given the limited footprint these
devices have.
