RasServer PPP 9600 baud rate

I am basically having troubles getting a PPP connection stable at a
baud rate of 9600.

I have PPP server turned on in platform builder and I set the needed
registry settings under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ppp] and when I start
the device and connect to my device from a PC at 19200 everything is
fine. I can connect and disconnect at will.

Now I run the rasserver example from ..PUBLIC\COMMON\OAK\DRIVERS
\NETSAMP\RASSERVER\, with some modifications to set the baud rate at
9600 and when I go to my PC and try to connect it only gets to the
"verifying user name and password" and never connects. Now if I go
onto my device and under Network and Dial connections I start up my
19200@com2 connection let it fail then go back to my PC the PPP client
will connect. If I disconnect the client I have to go back to the
device and again run my 19200@com2 connects and so on. Of course this
not acceptable.

Ideally I would like the default start up of PPP to be the 9600 baud
rate I want but I can't find anywhere in the registry where this can
be set. Why and how does the default PPP settings get a 19200 baud
rate? And has anyone else had problems with the rasserver example
changing the baud rate?

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
.
