Windows Embedded Enterprise? (Vista for Embedded)

We are desperately in search of information about Vista for Embedded and came across the Windows Embedded Enterprise family:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-us/products/weenterprise/default.mspx
However, VERY little information about the pricing (no info) and specs are available. Maybe someone here can answer a few questions for me:
1)
I found links to an Eval version on the web. However, it looks now that MS has removed it and made the above link the landing page. Is there a Trial version out there? And where? The comparison chart shows the Trial version is available at MSDN, but I can't find it (or any info on WEE) anywhere in MSDN.
2)
WinCE includes it's own kernel RTOS. WinXPe requires a 3rd party RTOS. On the WEE page, it is a bit confusing on whether WEE includes an internal RTOS kernel or not. Can we not simply install WEE Vista Business on an embedded system and be up and running with our current Vista apps?
3)
Pricing? 2 of the 3 vendors are impossible to get ahold of and the 3rd was still clueless.
4)
The page states that it can be deployed in Fixed Functionality mode. Am I correct in assuming that we can deploy with our App being the ONLY UI (no windows shell or win functionalities available directly to the user) ?
Thanks in advance for any information as Microsoft has be characteristically not forthcoming.
Ken
