Dear Friends,
We are using Samsung 2413 processor for developing customize board. We got
success in porting the eboot, and slowly we are heading to boot OS image.
Now I hve few general questions:
A) what is the relation between nk.nb0 and filesystem in case I want to use
nk.nb0 in nand flash? and how it is different considering the case when I
want to use nk.bin to write it into nand?
B) I read about MBR but I cannot make out do we need to write MBR when we
are going to use NK.nb0 ?
The reason for asking is while studying the eboot code, I found that
following related to writing NK.nb0 in nand flash starting from left to right:
Stepldr(BootStrap Loader) -- (TOC) -- Eboot --
OS Image
(Block 0) Block 1 Block 2
Block 4 & Onwards
Please correct it if I am wrong at any point.
Please have your comments on these and if one has some online material which
helps in broaden my understanding will be highly appreciated.
Hve a Good Day.
Thank you,
Ankur.
