Problem in Command Prompt Window

hi all,

I've created a virtual serial port driver in wince driver, and i've
included the command processor in my OS Design and i'm using 2 console
applications to write and read data into and from the port
respectively.The application has to write the data into the port and
i've used scanf for that, but when i attach it to target device and
run "cmd" in the run program space, i'm not getting the command
propmt window..where have i gone wrong?...do i need to include any
other catalogs into the OS Design?..or are there any settings i've to
change for that?...please answer.
