Re: 4 Level Grayscale support in WinCE 5.0

Sorry, I don't think that it does. If it were me, I'd use 256 grays and
just arrange for the right subset of those to be sent from the display
hardware to the display itself. We used to have a 16-gray device and there
were tons of bugs associated with 16 colors. Changing to 256 colors cleared
all of that up.

I need to develop a 4 level grayscale display driver for an e-Book LCD. I
like to confirm that WinCE 5.0 does support 4 level grayscale display.

I check the MSDN display drivers chapter. It seem to suggest that it shall
support. Could someone confirm me that WinCE do support 4 level grayscale
display. Any particular issue, I need to pay attention with?
