Porting Winsock App to GPRS/3G

Hello,

I have developed a WM5 device driver which is using winsock API to
communicate with server. This driver seem works pretty well in WiFi
and LAN environment.
Now, i would like to extend my driver so that it can use GPRS/3G
connection for some processes instead of using WiFi.

As a result, may i know can i continue to use winsock API to
communicate with server without changing any code? Or there is a
special API to use in order to utilize GPRS connection. FYI, the
driver will be in WM6 instead of WM5.
