OS Setup for Application Debug in VS2005

Hello from a CE newbie... working with VS2005 SP1 and CE 6.0 R2 PB (FYI)
Being able to successfully build, deploy and debug an OS image to a custom
device (ARM based), I'm now struggling on how to correctly set up the OS
image and/or environment to debug applications on the target device with the
Release OS, using VS2005 over a USB connection.
The fact is, ther's no way I can get connected to the device...
- The device has only USB (+ serial for EBOOT), no ethernet
- KITL is enabled and working as well as Kernel Debugger
- ActiveSync is in the OS and on development workstation (no connection,
though)
- SDK has been built and installed to develop the application(s)
- Debugging on emulator works fine
Could someone point me to some [useful] resources to get a clearer image of
CE (6.0) debugging process and involved elements? MS documentation is not
enough (also many links to tutorials are broken) and i feel like I am missing
something fundamental - even after hours of searching...
Thanks in advance...
SV
