It is not "a chip", as in one chip. Cellcore is some functionality that
is exposed to applications. On the other side of cellcore drivers talk
to hardware and supply cellcore with the functionality. An OEM may
choose to implement the functionality using any available chip, create
an ASIC themselves or even hire a leprechaun with a very small mobile
phone that sits behind a tiny desk inside the device handling all the
requests made by cellcore (these are usually the devices with a
"Recycle" sticker on them, for obvious reasons).
In short: what chip is used for what part of functionality is very
device specific.
