Re: Install driver without modifying CE Image

Sure. Put the dll in the \Windows folder (or any other folder in the Loader
path), add the appropriate registry entries and either call
Register/ActivateDevice or soft reset.

Hi

I'm a complete novice on Windows CE, and not sure if this post is in
the right place ... but here goes anyway.

I am looking to install a driver on a device running Windows CE 5.0,
but I do not want to have to build a new image including this driver.
Is there a way to copy the *.dll onto the device and register is
somehow ???

Any help would be appreciated ... thanks

.
