Re: mount CE volume under XP?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

yep, it is possible. But you don't say anything about
the device and windows ce components installed on it.
For USB you normally have at least two choices:

1. ActiveSync over USB. Requires ActiveSync installed on desktop
for XP and below:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/activesync45.mspx.

2. USB Mass Storage function. Nothing to be installed
on desktop side, will work by default.

Hi,
Just wondering if it's possible to mount and view files from a CE drive (connect via USB).
Having trouble with a device and pulled the drive so that I could copy the data from it, thinking it would mount under XP in explorer.

Is there something I could add to the xp box to recognize the drive & file system? I've done some googling but haven't stumbled across anything useful at this point.

Thanks in advance
