yep, it is possible. But you don't say anything about
the device and windows ce components installed on it.
For USB you normally have at least two choices:
1. ActiveSync over USB. Requires ActiveSync installed on desktop
for XP and below:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/activesync45.mspx.
2. USB Mass Storage function. Nothing to be installed
on desktop side, will work by default.

Having trouble with a device and pulled the drive so that I could copy the data from it, thinking it would mount under XP in explorer.
Is there something I could add to the xp box to recognize the drive & file system? I've done some googling but haven't stumbled across anything useful at this point.
