Mike, I'm sorry to hear that :(

Do you actually have PB in a working state now? I will follow up with our
team here and see if we can reproduce this. Can you confirm whether this is
on Windows XP or Vista?

Which patch did you install and can you share out the URL? It sounds
like
we couldn't CoCreate cesvchost.exe which most likely is due to a
registration issue. Can you please verify that cesvchost.exe exists
somewhere in %ProgramFiles%?

Hello:

I update patch to Platform Builder 5.0 from Microsoft, I get
connection download errors as following:

(CoreCon) 11:58:32 04/17/2007 Central Daylight Time: Failed to co-
create service host!
(CoreCon) 11:58:32 04/17/2007 Central Daylight Time: Transport
service failed to connect
(CoreCon) 11:58:32 04/17/2007 Central Daylight Time: Warning: One
or more services failed to connect. Make sure that the service is
properly configured.

Now, I cannot download nk.image to my target WinCE box. I really need
to get download/debug over TCP/IP. I need to debug WinCE build image.
I belive someone at Microsoft know about these problems.

Mike

Hi:

I am so mad, so I nuke the Platform Builder, registry, and folders
relate to WinCE.

I download the patch from the official WinCE --> MSDN location. I
install Jan, Feb, and then March patch.

Mike

Hi:

This is on Windows XP. I am going to spend a entire day to rebuild
Platform Builder. This is buggy stuffs. Please have someone test
multiple configurations OS before release to the public.

Mike
