Re: Video rotation in CE 6.0

As far as I know, in CE 6.0 we do not use DirectDraw if the display is
rotated; instead, we fall back to GDI. If an application wants to rotate
the video renderer output without the shell being rotated, it is currently
impossible. We are working on the features which allow us to rotate and
scale optimally. Then applications can take advantage of display driver's
rotation capability.

Hello,
My display driver in its current state can handle graphical rotation of
the
screen at 0,90,180,270 degrees properly, however when video is played, it
is
always played at 0 degrees, regardless of the orientation of the screen.
It
seems that in XP the OS handles this, but I guess I have to modify my
display
driver to get it to work in XP. Does anybody know how I should approach
this?
Thank you,
Donald
