CE .NET 4.1 Emulater problem

Hi,
i have installed EVC 4.0 with SP4 on my machine and then installed CE
..NET 4.1 emulater also. my problem is that evc cant connect to the
emulater. when i select to execute the app the emulater complains about
not being able to configure the emulater to have switched networking.i
know that this should be possible without using a null modem cable as i
have this set up working at my office. the problem is in the home
machine. it does not have a network card. is that the problem? or is it
a problem with connectivity option like choosing something other than
Ethernet? Thank You.
