I'm afraid that what you're asking is still not clear. You have a WM5
device connected via USB to a PC on your network and you want other PCs on
the network to be able to connect to a server running on the WM5 device?
That won't work. The WM5 device can create an outgoing connection to other
PCs on the network, but the reverse is not true.
Or are you saying that users of the PC, some of whom are not members of the
Administrators group, can't sync with the device? If that's the question,
yes, you're correct, only Administrators are supported for sync. No
workaround.

User on computers in my corporate network can't connect WM5 device, but
only on local administrator profile WM5 device connected to ActiveSync
normally. This tested on all versions AS...
