Getting around the file corruption situation in embeddedXP is to use
EWF (enhanced write filter). This essentially creates a RAM overlay
for you critical files (i.e. operating system). I am currently working
on some projects that involve the use of CE 5.0 and embeddedXP. When
using embedded XP we alwasys use EWF.
*EWF is native with embedded xp platform builder.
