How do you start your app? If you are launching through HKLM\Init
make sure explorer is not on your DependXX dependency list
(explorer is normally started by Launch50).

Becasue your app evidently depends on a shell running. You can make your app a shell replacement if that's the case (see the PB help on how to do it).
