Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Have never seen any issue with it, but a lot of our customer
reported problems like this one. In the most cases it was
caused by some other software like antivirus etc, you may
want to disable/uninstall if you have something like that
running. Also make sure you are logged in with admin rights.

Btw have you looked into system event log, are there any
related records there?

- no AV SW
- no "special" other SW I am aware of
- admin account used
- event log only shows this:
