I got it going!!!

I reinstalled everything. I found that even though I deselected the
option to install the Standard SDK it was still being referenced in the
IDE and the registry. I edited these and I could compile/run my little
app.

I'm still looking for ADO that will work and a grid component that I
can use.

I had as grid when I installed eVB3 but since I don't have that anymore
I seem to have lost that.

Do I have to install the "Mobile development kit" to get this back and
if so will it mess up my eVC4 installation again.
