Hope someone can help.
I have eVC++3 installed and working ... almost.
I can compile and the programs run on my iPAQ.
The trouble is i can't debug as the compiler doesn't find my device ... this
is irritating, as i had it working with eVC++3 and the SDK previous to
PPC2002 (the device has been upgraded to PPC2002).
Whenever i need eVC++ to connect to the device i get the Error message :
'There is no device installed. Please go to Configure Platform Manager to
add a device.'
When i go to Tools - Configure Platform Manager ... select MyiPAQ from the
devices and set it up for :
Transport : TCP/IP, Startup Server : ActiveSync
and then test, the test works fine.
ActiveSync is connecting through a wireless TCP/IP connection and works
fine.
I have also tried disabling the network and connecting via USB using PPP for
the Transport - this also _tests_ fine but isn't found by eVC++ to debug or
transfer files.
I have no other troubles with any other apps finding or interacting with the
device.
Desktop :
ActiveSync 3.7.1.3244
eVC++ 3.00.0099.0
Pocket PC 2002 platform
MyiPAQ
Pocket PC 2002 Emulation
Smartphone 2002 platform
Smartphone 2002 Emulation
Windows CE .NET Default Platform
<none>
Device : (MyiPAQ)
iPAQ 3835
PocketPC 2002
Compaq WiFi card
thanks for any direction,
...cmk
