Hi,

eVC++4, using MFC, PPC2003 emulator on a W2000 machine.

I also had the same problem and it turned out it was because I had removed one of the toolbars in the IDE. It was the
toolbar containing drowpdown combo boxex for the project, the active configuration and the active platform - I think
it's the build toolbar (I don't have the IDE here so I'm not quite sure about the names).

I could test the connection in the 'platform manager dialog' (again, not sure if this is the correct name) and here it
reported no errors.

I have just started out with pocket PC, windows CE and the embedded IDE myself, but I am pretty sure You have to use
service pack 2 for eVC++4.
