If you have an existing ActiveX component written using Visual Studio VC++,
then you would be better off using eVc to develop the WinCE 3.0 component.
Depending on the architecture of what your component odes, you may be easily
able to port it using a ommon set of source files.
Search the MS site for a documnt "How to write and use ActiveX controls for
Microsoft Windows CE 3.0". If you're using that component from eVb, there's
another MS paper, "Using custom ActiveX controls with embedded Visual Basic
3.0 in Microsoft Windows CE 3.0". I also wrote a pape entitled, "Porting a
WIN32 ActiveX control to Windows CE" that I could email to you, if needed.
It covers the issues of Unicode conversion among others. This should get you
started. The Embedded studio and SDKs are free from the MS mobile site.
