How can I play sounds from eVB

I am writing a little program for my two year old - he loves to play with my
handheld. Just some shapes and flashing colors and such. I would like it
to beep and bobble and such as well. Can anyone tell me how to play wav
files or trigger system sounds, or any such thing from eVB?
