Re: How to communicate between PC(XP or vista) and device with Wince by USB ?

You need provide a better description. I understand that English is not
your native language, but you have not described your requirements clearly.

I think that you are saying that:

1. You are developing a Windows CE device, which I will refer to as
"the device"
2.. You will connect the device to a PC via USB
3. The device will be the USB Client
4. The PC will be the USB Host
5. You want to use Human Interface Device (HID) as the communications
mechanism
6. You do not want the device to appear as a keyboard or mouse

So then, what do you want the device to appear as on the PC? Number 5 and 6
are inconsistent with each other aren't they?

If you are going to use acronyms to describe your problem, you really
should
define the acronym. That is especially true when someone asks you
questions
to clarify your question.

If so, you would need to write a USBF Client driver to support that and
expose the device as an HID device. That feature does not come from
Microsoft.

I have an arm9 board with wince. I want to make a communication
between PC and the device with wince by USB ,and I want to use HID
protocol. Maybe the pc is the host machine, and the arm9 is the slave
machine. What should I do?- Òþ²Ø±»ÒýÓÃÎÄ×Ö -

Thank you. not keyboard, it's the PCB. I hope that the PCB with WinCE
can communicate with the PC by HID protocol.- ??????? -

Thank you for your answer. I will make it clear and describe the
question again. I am developing a new embedded device with wince
5.0 . I want this device to communicate with the PC by USB port.t
Maybe the embedded device described as a Human Interface Device, then
communicate with PC. If not wince,I konw how to do. But under wince
System,I don't know.
This question is also how to communicate between two different
system, and one is as a HID ( Human Interface Device).
