What error do you get? I would not guess that the shortcut is fine without
seeing the contents. The usual things that always affect Win32 programs can
go wrong: missing DLL that is needed, EXE not in the location where you
specify, command line parameters wrong, etc.

no, that wasn't it.
No spaces in the path...
I did Try quotes.
Suppose the shortcut itself is fine, what else could it be ?
Kind regards,

You didn't quote the path to the EXE, but you need to because there's a
space in it? Every shortcut that I've ever built with Notepad has worked
just fine...

Hi,
If this is indeed shortcut-trouble, it could be that I have the same
problem.
When creating a shortcut myself (notepad), and adding it through a bib
file,
My shortcut does not work when clicked. I posted this before, still no
solution to this.
I think I know how a shortcut is supposed to work (length, path and
such),
and tried everything without effect. So I'm curous if this is the same,
and
if you can fix it, or have fixed it.
Kind regards,
Rob

Hi,
We have a wince5.0 application . It returns "file not found exception
error"
when we attempt to open the application.
I 'll be thankful if any one replies what is behind the issue.
