Thanks a lot for you detailed answers.

There is no WiFi interface, if it's not WZC. Any other interface would be
device-specific. You can still make various calls via OpenNETCF.Net to do
things to the adapters, but it all assumes that any wireless stuff is going
to be via WZC. The classes have always been set up so that, if you have an
SDK for this custom device method of setting up the wireless settings, you
can roll it into the class hierarchy of OpenNETCF yourself, but there's no
way to support every adapter everywhere.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your answer. One more query I want to ask you in this context.

For WiFi Settings Userinterface in WM 6.0 can we use OpenNETCF, even if
the WZC support is not there in the WM6.0 Device? Basically I want to know
is; does OpenNETCF support the WiFi interfaces without the Wireless Zero
Configuration Support from WM6.0 device?

Regards,
Siddhartha

There is no requirement for the WiFi on a device to be WZC compatible.
So
it might be or it might now. It's up to the hardware OEM. Generally I
query to see if it is, and if so use it. If not, then use the less
granular
NDIS functions.

Hi,

In MSDN, it is mentioned that, the WZC Automatic Configurations
support
is
not there for Windows Mobile ( Ref:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa930813.aspx). But i have to
use
the
WZC API for Windows Mobile 6.0 platform. Please let me know what is the
solution for Windows Mobile, if I have to use the WZC API.

Regards,
Siddhartha
