In theory, but that's not going to be a twenty second operation.Yeah, several minutes is not a problem.
I envision this scenario; I have multiple devices that are used daily,
occassionally a battery will completely run down on a PDA. The user
will place the device in a cradle connected to a server running a
custom app that will look for new clients attached via activesync. The
server will query the device for its ID. It will then look for a
register entry which tells it the application is installed or not. If
it is not installed then the server will either find its backup file
and restore the device (hopefully using the activesync api) or restore
just the registry via the RAPI and install the app using the cab file
via the wceload like you just explained. Sound correct?
