DNS problem on Windows Mobile 5

Hi,

we have a device with one virtual network card and one physical network
connection. The physical network connection can be either a PPP
connection over EvDO, GPRS or it can be a WiFI card.

We have run in to a really strange problem on Windows Mobile 5 devices.
The DNS lookup from pocket IE or activesync takes up to a minute over
EvDO or gprs networks. We have verified that the reponse from the DNS
server does actually come almost instanteously from the network, but
for some reason the device does not seem satisfied with the answer and
waits for up to a minute before connecting. This did not happen on
windows mobile 2003. We have also tested the same thing with vxutil and
that works fine.

Is there anyone else that has seen this behavior? Is it something that
we can do to prevent it from happening?
