running application

Hi,

I built a very simple Windows CE application by using .NET 2003 C# and then
copied it onto the \Hard Disk of my CE device. I can launch the application
successfully if I use HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Init registry key to automatically
Launch the application after the device is booted. However, if I want to
launch the application manually by clicking its icon from the Standard Shell
or by using "Start -> Run" to select it, nothing happens -- no error
messages or anything. And the OS continues to operate properly as far as I
can tell. Am I missing anything here in order to run applications manually?
I'm really baffled by this simple operation.

I'm using PB 4.2 and have all the QFE up to date.

Your inputs are very much appreciated.

Jin
