Huh? Are you referring to McAfee Security Center or do you have more than one McAfee application installed?

Has another McAfee application or a Norton application ever been installed on this machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it; an earlier McAfee application/version)?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than
Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)?

I did an update to my Compaq NC 8430 from Windows XP sp3 oficce 2003 to
Windows XP sp3 office 2007. The problem I'm having is that I can't get
the
activex dialog box window. When I try to do a windows update at
update.microsoft.com, I get the install the activex control required to
view
the website message, but there is no dialog box. Downloaded the file
OLEfix.zip that seems have worked in similar problems, but still can't see
the dialog box. Any idea?
