Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

A1. See TaurArian's reply. Chances are SP2 (or one of the other updates, which may include a SP2 Prerequisite update) is being installed in the background, even as you read this. Remember that no-charge support for getting SP2 installed is available; see my previous reply.

A2. If you double-click on any post in your thread, a thread-view page should open in another tab or window, depending on how you have IE configured, Jack.

Alternately, you might consider...

The "thread view page" is just what I'm looking for, but how does a mere

Sorry about the Window version. It's Vista X32 SP1. (SP2 is one of the
updates that keeps failing).

Maybe we can assist you here, Jack: What Error (number) is associated with
the failure of SP2 to install?

What other updates have failed to install and what Error(s) were associated
with those failures?

Is there a way to print replies other than screen prints?

Sure: IE File | Print... (or CTRL+P)

If you want to have all replies to your thread available for offline
reference, you could save the thread-view page to, e.g., the desktop or My
Documents via (IE) File | Save as... or you could simply copy/paste a reply
into Notepad.

My question now is this. Is there a way to print replies other than screen
prints?

Thanks.
