Delete c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log (a persistant copy is kept in
cbs.persist.log)

and run SFC /SCANNOW

Then

findstr /c:"verify" "%windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log"

If you get some text back, could you post that?
