0x80070715 ERROR_RESOURCE_TYPE_NOT_FOUND
The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file.

Suggest cleaning up the system (cleaяing out all the Temp/Tmp folders,
clearing the browser TIF, doing a Disk CleanUp, chkdsk, defragging, etc.)

Either the file is not present or the update server is being blocked
from successfully reading it. That could occur from either 3rd party
software intereference ... firewall, AV, etc., malware, or, the file is
at too low of a version to read or is not present.

Try installing the latest Version of the Windows Update Agent by
following the steps laid out here:
<http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/blogs/mowgreen/index.php?m=9&y=2007>

You have to know if the system is 32 [x86] or 64 bit[x64] to obtain the
correct Version. If you don't, go to Start > Run > type in

msinfo32

Click OK or press Enter
Look in the right frame next to System type.
IF this is Vista you and you need to run the commands from a Command
Prompt, locate 'cmd' from Start Search and then *right* click it, choose
'Run as administrator', follow the prompts.
