Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
Vista Home Premium.
I used to start Windows Update (manually) from a user account, followed
by the administrator password. This always worked, accept recently for
update KB951847 (service pack 1 for Microsoft .Net framework 3.5). After
consulting microsoft.com, I tried to install the update directly from my
administrator account. And it worked allright !
Perhaps for you too?
