I am trying to recover from a virus. I have done the PC recovery using F10
when booting up. That works great and completes normally. I can now boot up
normally. My new virus protection is up to date. When I go to download
Microsoft Windows Updates the first, I believe for updates load fine. Service
Pack 3 for windows XP downloads and installs fine. All I am doing is after I
finish the PC recovery part, going into windows update and letting it do all
the downloads. Then it reboots and it won’t come up. It gives me the option
to come up in safe mode and that’s it. I never get a normal boot again. What
can I do to fix this? Help!!!
.
