See my reply to your second post. (Patience is a virtue: We're all volunteers and have lives outside of this newsgroup...especially on a Sunday! <w>)

Hello everyone, this is my first post here and I hope that someone has the
answer for my problem. I installed today a copy of windows vista premium
(32bit) in my new computer. I started the windows update feature in order to
update windows. I downloaded all the updates that windows update found for
vista and office 2007. The computer installed all the updates and then
prompted me to reboot. I rebooted my pc about 5 minutes after that message
and when windows started again (after reboot) a message appeared telling me
that the updates were not installed because I had turned off my computer
before the installation was completed. I clicked on that message and when
the windows update window opened I read this: " Updates installed: Today at
6:52pm (Failed)". Then I clicked on Update History. I saw in Updates History
window that all the updates were successfully installed. There was no error
code there and in the state coloumn the word "Successful" was written beside
every update file. Now I 'm confused. Are the update files installed or not?
Sorry for my bad English and the length of my post.
