Each version of .NET is usually installed along with the application that
requires it, so if you have all three versions, then chances are that
somewhere along the way you installed at a minimum 3 applications,
with each of those 3 applications requiring and installing
it's own version of .NET

The olny other way you could have installed .Net is via the
"Optional Updates" listed when using Windows Update.

I am running XP Pro and currently have all 3 versions of .NET Framework on

computer. All three need to be updated. My question is "Do I need all
