SP3 for XP will not install -- Error message below

The update installed files but then failed and undid everything. The error
log reflected entries such as below -- basically that the account specified
was different . . .

The Upload Manager service failed to start due to the following error: The
account specified for this service is different from the account specified
for other services running in the same process.
