Re: Notified, but not installing?

ok happy to say i finally got update to take. was told to uninstall works
and then reinstall. only problem with that was i couldn't find the uninstall
under add/remove. so i did a reinstall of the works 8 that came with pc.
(when i went to run i kept getting error messages) then i did reinstallaiton
of works 8.5 update no error message this time. then i clicked on the
update and it seems to have installed as it is now listed under add/remove.

seems some components were missing. fyi when i tried to run the kb955428
update before installing the 8.5 update i still got the message that it
couldn't install so i guess it does need the 8.5 update.
