Message to Vincenzo Di Russo only!
Thanks to everybody, but an italian user cannot have in Italy a help about
this matter. Have a nice weekend,
Diego

Grazie Vincenzo!
YW, Diego.
dati continua all'infinito... Non facciamoci riconoscrere... Tra l'altro
il mio quesito mi pare abbastanza semplice!
Eh lo so.
cilecca. Prova col telefono, fidati ;-)
I apologize, but this one is an italian problem.Have a good day.
Agreed. <eg>

I've tried several times to open a support in Italy, bat the data
request upload does'nt work. It starts then goes on for a half an hour
and so on... The Usa Help and Support works fine, but they answer to me
to start a query in Italy. The chat support in Italy is not
available. That's all... Thanks and kinds regards.

I' ve seen the link 1. Then, on my XP Home Edition, I have to cancel
the last line of the reset.cmd script (that one with the secedit

I've got Access Denied error when I've tried to update my XP Home

SP2 to SP3 because of the installation program cannot modify the
registry.
The installation stopped with that error after 60% progress. Do you
know if
the Microsoft tool (subinacl.exe and reset.cmd) does work on XP Home
Edition too? It seems to me (reading the Microsoft instructions)
that it works on XP Professional only. Is that true? Somebody tried
that way on XP
Home Edition? And what can you say to me about the secedit.exe file,
present in the last line of reset.cmd script but not existing in XP
Home Edition? Can the reset.cmd work fine without secedit.exe file
too? Help me
please. Thaks in advance.
