I' ve seen the link 1. Then, on my XP Home Edition, I have to cancel the last
line of the reset.cmd script (that one with the secedit command)? Thanks
again PA Bear.

I've got Access Denied error when I've tried to update my XP Home Edition

The installation stopped with that error after 60% progress. Do you know
if
the Microsoft tool (subinacl.exe and reset.cmd) does work on XP Home
Edition too? It seems to me (reading the Microsoft instructions) that it
works on XP Professional only. Is that true? Somebody tried that way on XP
Home Edition? And what can you say to me about the secedit.exe file,
present in the last line of reset.cmd script but not existing in XP Home
Edition? Can the reset.cmd work fine without secedit.exe file too? Help me
please. Thaks in advance.
