The email address that keeps bouncing is v-30cwan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Her name is Wang, so I even tried cwang instead of cwan - no luck
I'm in the USA. I first tried installing the SP1 offered by Windows Update,
but it failed. Then, at the suggestion of the support person, I downloaded
it and tried installing it from the desktop with a clean boot. I've also
tried safe mode. I've tried uninstalling my virus software (AVG). I checked
to be sure all the other updates had installed - they had.
I've got Vista Home Premium on a 64bit system. Intel Core 2 Asus P5K Pro
motherboard. I know what these components are but don't really know anything
about them. The guy who put my system together is flummoxed, too.

Is Vista SP1 offered by Windows Update or are you attempting to install it manually?
What is the email address that bounces?
In what country do you reside?

suggested resolutions on the microsoft page, but no luck. I've searched the
forums, but the answer I encountered might as well have been Greek. I'm not
stupid, but that was beyond my computer expertise. I emailed Microsoft help,
and received some suggestions. But when I attempted to email the information
requested back to the support person, they all bounced back. I let them know
about the "bounce" problem, but the only answer I've gotten is that someone
forwarded my email to her. Since then, silence. Holiday weekend?
Any help will be appreciated.
