Vista SP1 - error 8007010B

When trying to install SP1, I encounter the error 8007010B. I've tried all 8 suggested resolutions on the microsoft page, but no luck. I've searched the forums, but the answer I encountered might as well have been Greek. I'm not stupid, but that was beyond my computer expertise. I emailed Microsoft help, and received some suggestions. But when I attempted to email the information requested back to the support person, they all bounced back. I let them know about the "bounce" problem, but the only answer I've gotten is that someone forwarded my email to her. Since then, silence. Holiday weekend?

Any help will be appreciated.
