I need it to know specifically when sp3 will be download as Ive made a
comptuer program which will fix some registry problems on an image and
allow it to install.
The image being an Intel image loaded onto a computer with an AMD processor, specifically an HP or Compaq computer? If so, that's why it wasn't offered. You need to download the .ISO, burn it to a CD and use that.

I have not been offered SP3 by auto update yet either. If I go to Microsoft update I am offered it. I have XP on about 5 computers here all different hardware and none have been offered it by auto update, just by Microsoft Update.
