Service Pack 3 Update

I have been trying to get the new Service Pack 3 to install on my computer
for days.
I have even tried to download the update more then once thinking I
downloaded a corrupt file. It will run through the installation of the files
then it tells me it's not allowed. It then tells me that there was a service
pack 3 setup error, and that the install did not complete. After I click 'ok'
windows runs the removal wizard and uninstalls everything that it already
completed. This has happened several times already. Has anybody encountered
this already. If so how do I fix it. The computer is running fine but I've
had to shut off the automatic updates until this get fixed...
