Re: SP3

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Thank you.
#1- What is the URL of the "download center?"
If I download that file, can I save it to any folder I want (even to CD)?
And then use #2- later if I wish to install (by clicking on the exe file)?
#3- If we receive CD from MS, will that be the 'latest' version? (I'm
getting a bit confused with the RC1, etc., mentioned.)

Thank you. If we did download (or install from CD), and when the download is
finished, does it AUTOMATICALLY install itself?

Depends on how you downloaded it. If you get it from the download center, it'll
be an executable file which you'll have to double-click. If you download it via
Windows Update it should start by itself. I'm not sure whether the CD will
autorun or not.

You'll be presented with several dialogs at the start of the installation, such
as licensing terms, so it should be obvious whether it's installed or not.
