What is the installed antivirus/security suite ?
That is the most likely cause of the updates failing to install properly. Or it may be a combination of sec software plus HP Printer software that is in use and will not allow the updating of the MSXML files. The repeated offering of KB890830 and KB922582 is the indicator that antivirus/security software is the most likely culprit.

You can try disabling all associated Services of said antivirus/security software via the Services console and disabling all of said antivirus/sec software startup files via the System Configuration Utility [msconfig] and/or,
disable all of the above, uninstall MSXML Parser 6.0 and 4.0 SP2, restart the system, then install MSXML Parser 6.0 and KB936181 [since it
is a complete installation package. You can use this package to install MSXML 4.0 SP2 on a computer that has no earlier versions of MSXML 4.0 installed.]
