If you're using the web interface, yes it's painful I know. I'm usingThe problem is likely that installing SP1 on Vista is not easy <haha>. I
it now.
Use Winmail as your Newsreader - it's a lot quicker and easier to keep
track of the Newsgroup postings.
Start a new thread, state what the problem is, what operating system
you're using etc. Also remember, you are relying upon volunteers here
so it may take up to 24-48 hours. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it's
not. Depending upon the problem and if anyone can assist.
Be precise and give as much detail as you can.

I just wonder why its so slow. I am frustrated at trying to get

be able to access it the same day. Am at wits end, didn't have much

And what does this have to do with this forum?

How come it takes sooooo long for messages to load? After sp1
messed up my system, I have spent 12 hrs on my own trying to fix
it, another 5 with microsoft, it would sure be nice if soemthing
worked better and faster than my computer!
can't get it on my Acer Laptop. SP1 just does not take into account many
things that it should, which appear dfferent from machine to machine. I
just hope that there will eventually be an SP1 version that is as easy to
install onto Vista (ALL Vista) as XP's SP1. This just sucks, and is
probably a moneyloser for MS as well.
Wish I could install XP on this 3680-2633 Acer machine.
